Cause I know you gave, the world your only son for us to
know your name, to live within the saviors love and he took my place
knowing he'd be crucified and you loved....you loved, a people undeserving
As I no longer believe in chance, God must have been trying to speak to me today when in an awesome time with Pastor Brad, Pastor Josh, and Pastor Tony, God brought up this scripture. "But the man who loves God is known by God." 1 Corinthians 8:3. It just seems to speak again to God's character. He desires so strongly that we would know Him. That desire was strong enough to send His Son to die that we might be able to know Him for eternity. Jesus says the exact same thing. John 17:3 says, "This is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent." We are so incredibly undeserving of anything. And what continues to strike me is that His love is so overwhelming that through everything, He wants to know me. Father, may we be known by You. May we love You with every bit of who we are. May we know You more intimately each day.
